CHARLESTON, WV – Moore Capito, Delegate (R-Kanawha) and Republican candidate for Governor of West Virginia, announced that his campaign enters 2023 with strong momentum after banking more than $500,000 during the first month of his campaign.
Capito’s impressive fundraising haul led the West Virginia Republican gubernatorial primary field in monies raised. Moore Capito said: “The outpouring of support we have received since we launched our campaign a little more than a month ago is truly humbling. These significant contributions allow us to fuel our campaign to improve the lives of hardworking West Virginia families, strengthen our communities for our children and grandchildren, and make West Virginia a destination state for jobs and opportunity. I’m excited to travel throughout our great state to meet and earn the votes of all West Virginians as I seek the Republican nomination for Governor.”
He enters 2023 with more than half-a-million dollars cash-on-hand. Of note, Capito’s report did not include any personal loans or contributions.
